Prudence Ferreira, CPHC®

Prudence is a senior member of MH’s Building Science team and the firm’s Passive House Practice Lead for Canada and the US. She has consulted on Passive House projects for over 10 years, primarily large-scale non-residential and housing projects, and teaches Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) training. She is a member of ASHRAE SPC 227, defining a new standard for zero carbon buildings based on Passive House best practices, and a founding member of the PHIUS Technical Committee. Prudence has worked on the development of Passive House standards and protocols for seven years, consulted on more than 50 Passive House projects, and has experience with unique passive house typologies such as curtain wall tower, historic masonry retrofit, medical facilities, labs and schools.
