Rachel Killion is a Senior Associate at Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture in Chicago. Since joining the firm in 2012, she has lent her talents on complex projects. Energetic and meticulous in her approach to design, she values strong collaboration as a team and strives to foster positive
relationships throughout the extent of every project. Her experience spans both new construction and adaptive reuse projects in the commercial office, retail and multi-family residential sectors, such as Mondelez International’s Global Headquarters at 905 W. Fulton; a 29-story residential tower at 1000 South Clark; and the Nashville Warehouse Co. mixed-use complex.
Rachel is a member of HPA’s Preservation Group. An Associate member of AIA Chicago, she was a mentee in its Bridge mentoring program and has subsequently volunteered as a program facilitator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan.
