Samir Mokashi

Principal and owner of Code Unlimited, Samir Mokashi, has over 30 years’ experience in building and fire code regulations, and specialized expertise in the application and use of mass timber. He has been involved in mass timber since 2015, when Code Unlimited teamed with Hacker Architects on the groundbreaking First Tech Federal Credit Union headquarters. Since then, Samir and his firm have consulted on other notable mass timber projects, including Oregon State University’s Forestry Center and Wood Products Laboratory, Sideyard, the PAE Living Building, and multiple projects for Katerra. A frequent speaker for organizations such as the American Institute of Architects and Society of Fire Protection Engineers, Samir also supported the early adoption of tall wood provisions into the Oregon State Building Code.
