Roger W. “Sam” Altreuter, Farley White Interests, and Jeffrey S. Tompkins

The summer of 2020 will see the completion of 72,000 square feet of Class A mass timber office space at Pease International Tradeport in Newington, NH. Developer Farley White chose mass timber for its sustainability and light carbon footprint, which, along with the aesthetic of exposed wood structure, will create a unique offering in a highly competitive market. In this presentation, the developer and architect will share their insights on the project, emphasizing mass timber design and permitting processes in a market new to its implementation, as well as approaches to energy efficiency, and HVAC selection.
